Soldiers are given two chances to evacuate from the battlefield, and only a successful evacuation with the discs captured signifies victory and results in credits allowing for the purchase of better equipment for the next round. In addition, a brand new game mode called Hazard Zone is available, where players are dropped into a location to collect data disks from downed satellites. Here, we can find 7 aforementioned maps, on which we can play matches in Conquest and Breakthrough modes. The pillar of Battlefield 2042 is the multiplayer mode called All-Out Warfare, where up to 128 players can play at the same time. Interestingly, this time the battlefields are constantly changing, both under the influence of military action and as a result of violent atmospheric phenomena, including sandstorms and tornadoes. Fights take place in urban areas (Songdo, Doha), sandy desert (Egypt) and ice-bound Antarctica. The game gives us in basic game mode seven vast and varied maps at our disposal. And there is a lot to choose from - the authors give us an extensive arsenal, a wide range of combat gadgets, various vehicles and numerous accessories. The rest - equipment taken to the battlefield - can be freely modified and adapted to individual preferences, without the limitations known from previous games. Each soldier type has a unique trait and a gadget or skill. During the game we play as Specialists belonging to four classes characteristic for the series. In Battlefield 2042 we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The soldiers, known here as No-Pats, do not formally belong to either side, but they are true specialists and their actions shape the future of the entire world. Standing on the brink of war, the United States and Russia have been participating for years in conflicts that are supposed to replace large-scale open warfare. PlotĪs the title suggests, Battlefield 2042 takes us on a journey to the not too distant future. It was developed by EA DICE, the studio responsible for the series, and published by Electronic Arts, which owns the rights to the brand. The game focuses on multiplayer gameplay.
